A PivotTable is Excel's most powerful data summarization tool. In this three-hour session for Windows and Mac users, you will learn what kinds of data works best for PivotTables and how to prepare your data. You will create PivotTables based on various data sources, summarize data by multiple categories using sum, average and count, format the PivotTable, rearrange columns and rows, apply filters, slicers and grouping (both manual and automatic). You will apply built-in calculations like Show as % of Grand Total, as well as create custom calculated fields. You will also create PivotCharts and refresh a PivotTable if its source data changes.
This class is suited for people who have taken our Excel Beginning or Intermediate Excel classes or have been using Excel (any version) for a year or more and want to learn how to use PivotTables.
